Phosphorus (P) is a key element with a plethora of functions in plant growth and metabolism, including cell division, photosynthesis, breakdown of sugars, energy transfer, etc. Most agricultural soils contain large reserves of phosphorus, a considerable part of which has accumulated due to the regular application of P fertilizers by farmers. However, most of these phosphorus reserves are rapidly immobilized, fixed, and become unavailable to plants. Depending on soil acidity (pH), the process of P fixation occurs by free oxides and hydroxides of aluminum and Iron in acid soils, and by calcium in alkaline soils. The introduction of efficient phosphorus solubilizing (PSB) is a practical strategy to overcome the problem of availability in agricultural soils.

Phosphorun is a new P biofertilizer that is produced as granular formulation by the Nature Biotechnology Company. Phosphorun is characterized by the simultaneous presence of phosphorus solubilizing bacteria and plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPRs), organic matters, and the mineral phosphorus. This product is applicable in any type of agricultural soil, especially those suffering from phosphorus deficiency of unavailability.

In addition to providing plant's nutritional needs cause the dissolution of insoluble phosphate and enhances nutrient uptake by plants.

Increasing the yield of farming and orchard crops

The best alternative to chemical phosphorus fertilizers

Possibility of producing organic products free of chemical residues

Reduction of environmental pollution caused by chemical phosphorus fertilizers

Easy to apply by hand or with a machine similar to conventional chemical phosphorus fertilizers

Fruit and ornamental trees

Phosphorun can be used during winter fertilization for fruit and ornamental trees and in combination with other types of fertilizers such as manure, humus, chemicals, humic acid, etc. An average dose of 1-1.5 kg fertilizer is recommended for each tree. As an easy way, use a hand or mechanical auger to dig a series of small holes (30-40 cm in-depth and at least 50 cm apart) under the tree canopy. Mix the fertilizer with an appropriate volume of composted manure or humus and pour the mixture into holes. Fill the hole with soil and water the garden.

Field crops

Phosphorun can be used at the time of sowing or ploughing for all types of field and greenhouse crops, and vegetables. The dose of application can be determined according to the phosphorus content of the soil, which is evidenced through soil analysis (see Table below). Where soil analysis is not present, an average dose of 100 kg per hectare is recommended. Fertilization can be performed either by broadcasting, where the fertilizer is uniformly distributed throughout the field before ploughing, or as band placement, where the fertilizer is applied in continuous bands near (usually below) the seeds, such that the growing roots will easily reach it.
