Trichoderma harzianum and Bacillus velezensis are undoubtedly some of the most important plant probiotics that positively affect plant growth and yield by surrounding the plant roots. These microorganisms are the most well-known ingredients of biological fertilizers and fungicides which have a firm place in biocontrol against diseases and organic agriculture. Trichoderma harzianum and Bacillus velezensis, in addition to enhance plant growth and yield, protect plants against biotic (pathogens) and abiotic stresses through the production of plant hormones like auxins and gibberellins, sequestration of iron for plants by siderophores, synthesis of fungal cell wall-lysing enzymes, antibiotic production against pathogenic bacteria and so on. 

Bioguard WP is a water-soluble fertilizer based on beneficial microorganisms such as Trichoderma harzianum and Bacillus velezensis, humic acid (potassium humate), and seaweed extract (Ascophyllum nodosum, Laminaria, and Sargassum). Bioguard is applied to different types of agricultural crops like field crops, vegetables, fruit, and ornamental trees and greenhouse crops (both soil and hydroponic systems) to promote plant health and growth and suppress soil pathogens. Microorganisms cause seed germination rate increase, root-system development, and growth and yield enhancement through plant hormone production and facilitate nutrient uptake. On the other hand, microorganisms induce resistance in host plants against biotic and abiotic stresses like plant pathogens, drought, salinity, and temperature fluctuations through the production of a wide range of antibiotics, metabolites, and lytic enzymes such as cellulose, and chitin. Seaweed extract, in addition to plant resistance to stresses, causes fertility increase and microbial growth stimulation. Also, humic acid enhances plant growth, health, and yield.

Improves seed germination and plant's growth

Stimulates root growth, increases plant-uptake of fixed soil nutrients, and improves their solubility and uptake efficiency

Increases the buffering capacity of soil especially in unfavorable pH conditions

Improves environmental stresses tolerance of plants

Increases the plant's resistance against biotic stresses such as pathogenic fungi (Fusarium, Phytophthora, Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Macrophomina, Sclerotium, ...).

Seed treatment:

Spray water onto the seed then inoculated them with the right amount of Bioguard, and after inoculation, the seeds are dried in the shade and then are sown in the soil. 

Root treatment:

Dilute recommended amount of Bioguard per the right amount of water and dip the root of plants in the solution for 15 minutes before planting.

Soil treatment:

Apply 1.5 kg in at least 100 liters of water per hectare.

Any rates of application may vary and are subject to change according to physical and chemical properties of soil, climatic and cultivation conditions. 

Avoid mixing anti-fungal and anti-bacterial products like Copper with Bioguard because they could render Bioguard ineffective.
