Mode of action of probiotics:
The bacterial species present in this product competes with pathogenic bacteria for essential nutrients and prevents adhesion and growth of these pathogens. Use of this product improves the microbial balance, boosts the immune system, and removes the pathogenic bacteria from the host body. The bacterial content of the product increases production of volatile fatty acid (VFA) in the rumen and in turn reduces the methane production and therefore loss of energy. Moreover, this product is capable of decreasing ammonia concentrations in the rumen, which results in increased production and absorption of microbial proteins and feed digestibility. The beneficial bacteria present in Hypro-cow can inactivate the carcinogenic activity of β-glucuronides and nitro-reductase in cattle. The fermentation property of these bacteria improves the resistance of the animal to stress related diseases, which in turn improve appetite, feed conversion rate and weight gain.
Mode of action of prebiotic:
Prebiotics in the Hypro-cow D+ is dextran oligosaccharide. The prebiotic is a bacterial exopolysaccharide produced by Leuconostoc mesenteroides in sucrose-based medium. Dextran is resistant to gastric enzymes and in the digestive system, only bacteria that have a dextranase enzyme, such as bacteria that produce lactic acid (As the bacteria present in this product) are able to use it. In this way, the prebiotic in this compound helps to grow and colonize probiotic microorganisms and prevent the growth of pathogen microorganisms. Dextran in the formulation and short chain fatty acids produced by bacteria stimulate the immune system.
